Welcome to Breaking into the Room, where we go behind the scenes to learn more about the rooms at our three locations, 321 Escape Rooms, Escape Room Entertainment – Downtown, and Escape Room Entertainment – West Melbourne.
We hope you are in the holiday spirit because today we are talking about “Christmas Treason.” Christmas Treason was born to bring some Christmas Spirit to our customers. We know the holidays is a time of year when everyone wants to find things to do together, unplug, and enjoy family activities. That was our goal with Christmas Treason – to give families a fun way to spend time together, and get into the holiday spirit.
Christmas Treason, ended up being a difficult room, with some of our coolest tricks yet. We incorporated all of the senses into this room, and the linear design of the room, helped it flow along with the storyline. A nasty elf, John, has stolen Santa’s Christmas Spirit and put him to sleep. In order to save Christmas – you and your team must work together to restore Christmas Spirit and help Santa to wake up in time to deliver Christmas!
The storyline gave our team tons of ideas that used many traditional Christmas items for new and exciting purposes. It’s pretty easy to see that our inspiration came from the lights, sounds, and smells of Christmas time. We had so many ideas to use, that ultimately not all of them made the cut for this room (don’t worry these ideas usually surface in some form or fashion in a different room.).
Christmas Treason was a great room, that continued to book out of season, but alas, all good things must come to an end. On July 31st, Christmas Treason will be closing for good, to make room for our newest room at Escape Room Entertainment – Downtown. Don’t miss your chance – this room is only open for a limited time, and after that you will miss your chance forever!
“Christmas in July” sounds like a great way to cool off from the Florida Heat!
